A friend spoke to PTG about a .404 NE reamer and they said there are 2 versions. Version 1 is the CIP standard reamer. Version 2 is another reamer that cuts a very slightly tighter chamber with a different throat angle and pitch. I do not have the drawings with me, but the CIP seemed to cut a slightly sloppy chamber and version #2 cut one closer to the case dimensions listed in Cartridges of the World. PTG says version #2 is popular right now. Which one should my friend order and why? Thanks in advance. CC |
