The mountain reed buck and the Vaal Rhebok are two of Africas most challanging animals, I love to hunt them..

As to the post, I see little use for a .375 for plainsgame, Zebra and Eland are easily killed with a 30-06 and a 180 gr. Nosler...the 375 is a DGR IMO....

I like a 7x57 and a 300 H&H for plainsgame or even a .338 win. but 95% of our clients shoot all plainsgame with 270s and 30-06s...

To each his own, thats a hunters choice, and whatever blows your skirt up, but the big medium bore is simply not needed, but it works of course...
