Though these rifles can be scoped, I don't plan on scoping this one. The fixed sights on the new barrel are the same sights Winchester used on their Model 70 Classic Safari Express. It will be a 100 yard-ish rifle.

Regarding dies, I have been handloading, as in HAND loading, the cartridge for my Marlin. But I have had dies on order from Whidden since last year. They should be in hand in 3-4 more weeks. I'm going to have to see how they work out, dimension wise that is, because they were made from the drawing.
