Re: Used 458 Win Mag, for Cameroon forset hunt?

Was looking around the other day for a good inexpensive gun to take to Alaska for the wet weather and found a Ruger Guide gun in .416 Ruger..think that would possibly make a good choice as well...light weight, flat enough for those 100 yard shots or less..mostly less...and plenty of KO power for anything you will meet..and is controlled round feed...can get a sythetic stock for them or laminate..

Also like John suggested, insure it. If it goes missing you get a new one..

I am leaning towards getting the Kimber Talkeetna in .375H&H...looked at one last week..controlled round feed, stainless, synthetic..should be good in wet weather...I will have it coated to reduce the stainless shine...and also protects the metal..did the same on my Sako 75..worked fine...
