Unless that rifle balances and swings like a good double I would avoid it. 12ld is heavy and you will soon tire of lugging that around in thick bush. May I suggest, if you purchase the rifle, that you loose at least 2lb from it,some of that would come in shortening the barrel by 2". I have not hunted Cameroon but I do know a bit about lugging rifles through thick/dense bush. At the end of the day if the rifle keeps snagging even a 6lb you feel like throwing away.
