FOR ME,, I would not get a .458 for that hunt..

I am sticking to .375H&H or similar for that hunt..elephants there are on the smallish side NO???

also if there was a longish shot at something..feel the .458 doesn't have much for distance..granted there may never be anything over 100 yards anyway..but I plan to take a lighter rifle both in weight and recoil... but that is just me...

Can never have too many guns..
