Until recently I wrestled with the idea of building a .460 G&A for our next year's trip to Tanzania. This project is more attractive now that .375 Ultra brass is easy to get and affordable. I personally think Remington missed the boat by not bringing out their .416 on this case. I owned a .416 Rigby which I lost in a house fire (sad story) and as much as I loved that rifle, each time I pulled the trigger was an economic dilema. The Ultra case would give low pressures in the heat and still best the .458 by 150 fps. I like short barrels on my "serious" guns and I think you could still get 2200 fps with 550 gr. Woodleighs out of a 20 inch barrel. Mike
