Hey John!

Thanks so much for posting this. I quit buying gun magazines awhile ago because all the articles seem to be about "AR" this or "Hyper-velocity" that. When this magazine came out, who would have believed that a "Custom" rifle costing thousands of dollars would be a blue-printed Remington 700 action in high-tech, synthetic stock! While there are still a few excellent, custom gun makers around who know how to build a true "best quality" rifle, I fear the days of figured walnut and blued steel are numbered.

Don't get me wrong. I can appreciate what a useful and accurate tool a modern rifle can be. However, to my way of thinking, they just don't have any soul....
