Tang safety means the early M77's, before the Mark II's, I assume. My Ruger with the tang safety, a .243 International, left the factory in 1983. It's quite a good shooting rifle - sub or right at moa with most bullet weights - I don't see why the .458 would be any different. I would not sell my little full stock Ruger for less than $1,000.00, and maybe not then. |
