I like my cased takedown Savage 99 in .22 Savage High Power, made in 1932 and retailed by Manton of Calcutta. It was owned by a British Army Captain in the Medical Corps.

Its 70 grain bullets are not much deflected by wind and is accurate to 300 yards with iron sights.

But I'm obviously just a wimp compared to you chaps...
