Some of the photos shown in your initial post are there in it & as Wanabebwana said the grain on the stock matches so I reckon you have the original .458.
Shame about the original papers!

Well, kick? - it actually weighs only 8 pounds 2 ounces without the scope, and 9 pounds 1 ounce with the scope. However, the cut of the stock is pretty stright, and recoil is very manageable.
