Re: New Big Bore, the .435 PH Express

Shades of the .400 Holland and Holland, and they also tried to compare it to the .416 Rem, makeing ridiculas claims of pressure problems.

If one has pressure problems with the 416 then he is using the wrong powder or too much of the right powder...Claims of the lower pressure of the 416 Rigby pop up now and then and to this I say, "yes that is true, so what"...The 270, 243, 375 and a host of other calibers operate within the 416 Remingtons range, well duh!!!!

If I was loading for a 416 Rigby then I would be shooting it at about 2800 FPS and utilizing the powder capacity like I do my 404 Jefferys at near 2600 FPS

I load 78 grs. of RL-15 with any bullet in my 416 Rem. and get about 2350 to 2380 on my chronograph, thats 4 grs. below book max and that load had been in Africa many times......Ross Seyfried loaded 82 grs. for his 11 years in Tanzania without a problem...

When someone comes out with a new 40 cal. big bore they always compare it to the 416 Rem much the same as bullet makers compare their wonder bullet to Nosler..The facts are the .435 will never see the light of day, any takers on this for cash????????
