Eric--I will most likely just go out and shoot it when I get time and see what happens--if it doesn't work I'll probably do as you as long as the stock holds together(seems pretty good right now, but incessant pounding can do things over time that can't be simulated now--but I feel pretty good about what I've done)----chris
