I wonder how many of us own,have owned or know of someone that has a rifle that started off using a case or projectile that was designed for something else..........

What about all the short magnums or the 22 rimfire cases necked down to 17.
I own a 375 Taylor and a 416 Taylor and even a 308 win that started out as something else...
Hell I even thought of necking down a 308 case to 270 ,6.5 or 25 cal because they fit a standard action...

A rimmed case makes good sense to me.
