Rolf Bachnick/Century Arm .500 Jeffery M98's

Back around 2002 I visited Century Arms which then had a gun shop and Rolf Bachnick was working for them. Had a good look at a .500 Jeffery custom Mauser 98 which Rolf was making as a 'standard' and selling reportedly a number of them to custom customers. No idea how many he made. Of course he now owns and does his business under the name Safari Arms.

IMy question is does anyone here have one, or know anyone who has one? How are they? Question was prompted about a related enquiry. Just out of personal interest.

At the time I was in the market for my first 'real' big bore, either a .375 or a .416. Ended up with the .375. Just keenly interested in the .500 and especially the sizable hole in the mussle but it was too much too soon back then.
