Looks like the Kodiak 375 and Barnes 300 gr. TSX bullets are a good combo on water buffalo. I killed this one and 2 more with this combo, and they performed flawlessly. None of the bulls ran over 50 yards after being hit through the chest. Every shot was a frontal shot going into the chest cavity. Of course I did keep shooting until they hit the ground, but I doubt the follow up shots were needed. I was able to recover several bullets just under the skin on the off side of the bulls. Picture perfect performance for the gun and bullets!
