G'day Everyone, I know this may be a bit late but thought I may as well throw my 2 cents worth in anyway. The Blaser double may appear to have a similar type of action to the Krieghoff but looks very different at both the action and barrel faces, as well as other areas. The giant safety / cocking slide is often photographed in the rear uncocked position and actually sits well forward when in the cocked, ready to fire position. Whether it is far enough forward to avoid any contact with the shooters hand I don't know as I have not fired one. (Yet!) Regarding the bolt action double, I remember being just a little bewildered by some of the original advertising that appeared with the gun. Quote....with 2 cartridges, it's a double hit within 5-7 seconds!!!!!!!!!! and....all 6 shots can be fired within 30 seconds!!!!!!!!!! I think they must have been cleaning the bores after each shot! Whadaya reckon?? Cheers Alan |
