Re: Sako 9.3x66

aussiemike --

if you go to www.rifleshooter.com, you'll see a button labelled "loaddata", that's the one

if you are not a subscriber, you can only see limited data

an annual sunscription is USD $24.95 -- then you get the full data

they have got tens of thousands of loads!!!

they went back thru old issues of handloader magazine and uploaded data, and they are still expanding the database literally daily

i have subscribed for almost two years and am very pleased with the info available.

if you're shooting expensive premium bullets in larger calibers, they can actually save you money by getting you onto the right powder from Day One of your load development for a new rifle. well.....at least you could tell your wife that.

obviously, an american publisher suich as wolfe does not have nearly as much info on say the 8x68 or the 9.3x74R as they do on the .30-06 (which is well over a thousand loads all by itself)

just for example, they list 139 loads for the 9.3x62 but only 35 for the 9.3x74R and 37 for the 9.3x64 brenneke

they also have lots of info on older cartridges that are no loonger popular, such as about 300 loads for the .250-3000 savage, and another 300 or 400 for the 257 roberts, even a couple hundred loads for the 257 improved, and well over a hundred loads for the .25-20 and the same for the .25-35.

way cool!

oh, by the way, only FOUR loads for the 9.3x66 sako!!!!!

enjoy
