I called CZ and they sent me another follower spring--I also have a stronger spring coming--I tried the new spring and same result--so I if the stronger spring doesn't work then I can cross that off the list

done the finger trick on the rail--no ruff spots--but I think I may polish it more--

the ramp I've worked on to take the hump out of it and that helped a lot--

didn't think about the follower when I talked to CZ--looks like I'll make another call to get one--

I don't think the rail has been cut, but I do have this thought that since the gun started life as a 458 win mag, that maybe just maybe the rail step needed to be cut back a hair also and didn't get done--hence my question about the measurement of where the cut is---

the last gunsmith just checked the rifle out to make sure there were no major quirks and he shot it and he said it fed fine, but it wasn't A-square ammo --I'm going to call him also and see and see what he thinks at this stage-- chris
