Joel, that has turned out magnificent, I especially like the checkering pattern which is very classic and suits the rifle very well. Most Custom Model 70 rifles that come out of the USA have a fleur de lis pattern which while perfectly executed, gets boring after a while in my opinion. You seem to have managed to perfectly balance the entire rifle and even the left hand side which on many custom Model 70 rifles can look very long and slab sided, seems well balanced on yours.
