I see a little SAKO 85 here. Unlike the SAKO, which has its ejector at the 6 o'clock position, Cooper wisely placed their ejector at the two o'clock position. This is a real fault of the SAKO 75 and 85 series. A low mounted scope can lead to empties falling back into the action and buggering things up. I would like to see what Cooper does for recoil lugs. Is there a recoil lug on the barrel to spread things out? Is there a model 70 or 700 type lug in front of the receiver? Or do they do that little button nonsense like SAKO did on the 85? Now you got me thinking Ripp. |
