Nope, that little crease across the neck of the chuck that my friend is holding is the 50 cal hit. Like I said it would have taken a sponge and a mop to round up the chuck hit with 22-250.

There is kind of a interesting story that goes with shooting that chuck with the 50. It took my friend to two shots to hit it.

The chuck was laying on the second story ledge of the old house in the back ground. We were shooting from a portable shooting table at 250 yards. My friend aimed in and took a shot and missed. I was watching the shot with binoculars and called his shot 4 inches high. Everybody groaned and one of the other guys asked "how the heck can you tell the shot was 4 inches high?" I answered "Because I can see the mountain behind the house through the hole he made."

My friend looked through the scope and he said, "Yeah I can see the hole through the scope." He used that hole as reference and made the hit. At the hit every one called it a miss. I called it as hit as I saw the spray. The chuck never moved a muscle.

When we went up and checked the chuck one of my other friends was looking at the two holes. He reached in his pocket and pulled out a little tape measure and measured the ctc of the two holes---exactly 4 inches.

My friend who was doing the shooting laughed and said "in all the years we have been varmint hunting together that's the first time he ever go that right!" (He's right)

My Friend also shot a Whitetail deer with the gun. It just dropped in it's track. No blood shot meat.
