My friend and I used his home made dropping block single 50 BMG to shoot rock chucks

This was shot at about 250 yards. Impressive? Not when you consider the rock chuck we shot from the same setting with a 22-250 Ackley improved would have a required a sponge and a mop to pickup.

Doc52 does this mean I don't want to shoot your AR50? Of course not. It just means the 22-250 Ackley Improved is a better rock chuck killer than a 50BMG! Wouldn't want to hunt buffalo with the Ackley.
