I am just in the process of fitting cross-bolts and bedding to my .458 Lott, which is on a BRNO 602 action, and I have reduced the barrel length to 22", which I think is an excellent length and still makes a very easy pointing rifle. I should have it finished this weekend and will start load development after that, so I will post some reports and photos shortly.

It would be very interesting to be able to compare the 20" barrel to the 22" and 23" barrels both for handiness, point-ability and in shooting, too.
