The gentleman is obviously talking about what is a good DG rifle for his circumstances. For someone going to the rough once in a long while, for a few days, lots of things are not that important if the rifle feeds flawlessly, shoots well, and the shooter knows it intimately - and can fire it well, of course.

Now, if the rifle does spend most of its time bumped around on the back of a pickup, carried in the dust and the rough for hours, thrown in a corner when coming back late and exhausted at night, that rifle does need more intrinsic reliability than the platform shown in the video...

Oh, and the gentleman did say clearly that you want to remove the muzzle brake for hunting. Thanks for that, every PH I know has a deep aversion for these things. When hunting with a client, a PH can't always protect his ears in time, and permanent tinnitus is not an amusing condition.
