"Straight Grain On The Wrist" on gunstocks

Gentlepeople:

I am in the process of putting together a .416 Rigby on the Montana Rifleman's new "Professional Hunter" action. Delivery is expected to be in "the Fall of 2005."

I already have in my posession a (what I consider) BEAUTIFUL Turkish Walnut rifle blank that is over three years old.

In looking at this blank, it appears that on the grip area (the wrist) the grain isn't as straight as some other blanks that I've seen. In your experience, could this be a problem for me considering I'm using this blank for a .416 Rigby?

I have another questions that I will post in another post.

Thanks in advance for any inputs/suggestions/opinions.

I can get a picture of the blank if any of you want to see it.
