Might be a 1923 Remington commercially sporterized M1917 Enfield action (Model 30?, weren't they?), but the round itself was not developed until someone at Guns and Ammo designed & named it, I think. I remember reading the G&A magazine it was written up in - perhaps late 1960's or into the 1970's, seems to me. That timing is just a guess.

Looks like a well made, custom rifle - if that 2000 to 3000 SEK is valued at around 1,000 to 1,500 CDN dollars, I'd say it was OK - if you want it. If the rifle is a grade above that, then perhaps it is worth more to someone who wants it.

Edited- corrected the model to 30 - 60 was a Cooey .22 - I have 2 - HA~!
