had a Ruger RSM in 458 Lott a few years ago, shot plenty of pigs and a few scrub bulls with it. Used both 405 gr flat points ( plinking and pigs) and 500 gr RNSP projies in it. I shoot A 470NE and I reckon those 500 gr at 2400 ish fps are brutal in comparison. I liked the rifle and calibre but one of many projects required more funding so it got sold.
