458 Lott is a good cartridge, shot plenty of pigs anda few scrub bulls when I had mine. 405 Gr 45/70 pills positively blow pigs apart and the standard 500 Gr RNSPs are fantastic big game medicine.

Its a good cartridge, best handloaded to 2150-2200 Fps with 500 Gr pills, can go higher but not real point, the 500 gr pills at 2400 Fps can be a little emotional!
