Hey jeffery,I shot a spike buck running fast across a field with a 338wm and the federal high energy loaded with 250gr.woodleighs a few years ago.Buck dropped,never moved,perfect hit- dead center.One of my all time greatest shots.off hand 100+ yards,buck running streight away.winchester 70 super grade rifle leupold 2.5x8 scope.I have liked that bullet and combo ever since.
Also does anyone know what pilot size to use for 338&375H&H for a lyman or rcbs case trimmer?Iam having trouble finding info on internet.Is it 33 and 37 numbers?I gotta get a couple....Also is there a cheapway to clean brass without a tumbler?Any secrets/designs?Tie to car wheel?Home made tummblers?Cleaners?Brasso.
