500 Jeff CZ?

First I'd like to introduce myself. I'm an early 40's guy with an itch for shooting larger rifles (at least compared to my deer hunting buddies). I have a rapidly growing library of books on Africa and rifles, although I have not yet made it over there. Until then I enjoy shooting the old classic calibers. My experience thus far has been with my 375 H&H, 450/400, and a couple of 416 Rigbys. I have been wanting to add a CZ in 505 Gibbs or 500 Jeff to the collection and have a chance to pick up a CZ 550 in 500 Jeff at a price I can afford to pay right now, and still have some money left over to feed it and have fun. My question is to those who have experience with this rifle, how difficult are they to feed? Will they feed the Kynoch or Norma factory loads? I've read some reports online of them being picky about what they'll chamber and would like to know if that is the case or not. Is brass supply a problem? So far everywhere I've looked seems to be out of brass. Is that normal or just bad timing? I do plan to reload for it as I do with the others and have been looking at the dies and other necessary supplies. The price is right for me, but I just don't want to end up with a nice rifle that I can't feed. Any advice or opinions is greatly appreciated.
