I would get a checkup immediately. The Hyphema you described could have come from stiff recoil with a pre-existing weak vessel. However, I would be far more concerned with potential underlying hypertension. If the problem occurred unrelated to the recoil or

only incidently due to it, you could be looking at increased risk of a stroke. I would call my physician today.
