I see that the .404 Jeffery is no longer offered and would not at all be surprised that none was ever sold. It seems that there's a mentality that says "let the orders come in and we'll fill them when the quantity justifies." As far as quality goes, I've always been satisfied with the USRAC offerings and would like to hear first hand about disappointments except I'd not be surprised to order one of these and never get it. D'Arcy Echols may be, in fact, the worlds premier artist in firearms and I'm in awe every time I see one of his creations. If, in fact, it's true that he'd never make a .416 Rigby on a M-70, wouldn't hold much water for me given that Winchester decided to make one. I'd not be afraid of it, as it's a gamble I'm fully willing to take. I'd not take any bets at any odds however if one will ever be produced and sold. |
