I would have used 400gn Woodleigh RN SN
if i had used anything. That was what I
used to sight in the gun.

I like the calibre, I prefer the 3" version
only because it is easier to handle in my
hands but I think the 3.25" cartridge looks
sexier.

But that is just my HO !!!





500 Nitro, what bullet diameter do you use? Apparently the longer version was loaded mainly with .408" bullets.
By the way the length of the cartridge plays important role for me because as I have big hands it is sometimes more difficult for me to load 7x57 into the rifle magazine than e.g. 350 Rigby.
