The differences between the three rifles can be a little subjective but I'm a M-70 fan all the way. The .416 Rem and the .416 Rigby do the same thing. They throw the same bullet at the same velocity....so what's the difference? As far as pressures go I'm very confused by those that tout the .375 H&H and the .458 Lott and then turn their backs on the .416 Remington that operates at the same pressure. There's more than a shovelful of bullshit here. Having said all that I'm a traditionalist and that means I'd rather have a .416 Rigby in a M-70 and it's just not to be. Not available!! However the .404 Jeffery is availanle (soon) and it's all the .416 Rigby ever was and a little more.....maybe.... |
