Buffalo hunting is called dangerous game hunting because buffalo can maim and kill people. That includes not just the client, but also the professional hunter, his trackers, and local villagers. By using an inadequate/illegal caliber, you increase the chance that someone will be hurt or killed. Even if you want to take that risk yourself by using something less than the minimum legal caliber, is it fair to the trackers and local villagers to increase their risk unnecessarily?
