Re: 45-70 Marlin for Cape Buffalo?

Read close "DUGABOY1" "DUGABOY1" I never said your answer was wrong. I just said that I thought thought that there were some countries that didn't have caliber restrictions and if I was wrong I said to correct me. Then you got your PANTIES all in a wad.

As to the k-mart rifle response I have plain ole everyday rifles and I have some that are not. But LORD forgive me if i'm not a rich spoiled brat with an endless supply of money coming in like some people. most of the time the ones that are the worst are those who have never been poor in their whole life I will be damn if I am gonna go out here and give lots of thousands of dollars for a fucking gun. I love guns but I am sure I can think of something a bit more useful for that kind of money.
and if you read real close again I said that I wanted to shoot the first buffalo with something like a 458 lott and then the second with a 45/70.The last reloading manual that I was looking at gives the 45/70 in a ruger #1 at 2200 f/s. Isn't that pretty close to all the 375 h&h can do with the rhino or woodleigh 350 gr bullets which are 50 gr lighter. So what would be wrong with a 45/70 and a barnes 400 gr solid at 2200 f/s. You are the one with a grip on ignorance here if anybody. I never said I am definately gonna use a 45/70 on a cape buffalo. All I said was what do all of you all think about using a 45/70 on cape buffalo. Wasn't nobody picking an argument here as flames would start shooting out of your pussy again
