I agree with Ray, I believe the 458 Lott kicks too much
for the average shooter. We videoed everyone shooting each
others rifles on our last safari & the amount of kick the
Lott delivers is truly amazing. My friend is trading his
458 Lott on a 375, he seemed to shoot it much better &
more comfortably (he used the PH's 375).

If you can handle the recoil, the Lott is a great load.
But most of us mere mortals do better with something a bit
less.
