I really don`t like like aimpoints or doctor sights, I`ve tried quite a lot of them and would always choose a scope instead. In your case I would go for a 1-4*24 scope with an illuminated cross. All the big brands has one for sale. Zeiss also offer one with just a red dot. I my selves went for a Meopta Meostar r1 1-4*24 with illuminated K-dot, just as fast as any aimpoint sight and no problem shooting with both eyes open. I use my 1-4*24 on a drilling, so it gets used both for the rifle barrel and the shotgun barrels.
