Woodleigh or Stewart bullets get my vote for best bullet, followed bt Winchester Silvertip (but only .30 cal 180 grain)........having said that, I've never even seen a bear, so couldn't comment on a bullet for that species.....just in general.

Do they die easily? .............I hate the cold, but the only animal I'd be willing to get that that way for would be a BIG bear.

........On the subject of bullet failures, I've seen more Trophy Bonded fail than all the rest put together. I wouldn't give 'em house room!
