I shot a brown bear with a .416 Rigby using 400 gr. Trophy Bonded Bear Claws in 1998. Perfect mushroom, knocked the bear down, he got back up, but very wobbly. A second dose settled the account on the spot. I've taken 3 cape buffalo with the same load only needed a second shot on one.
