In reply to: The problem with the rotary mag Mannlichers is that they will generally only feed one bullet weight and style. A bit of fiddling with seating depth can help, but that is not always an option. And the same goes for a lot of '98 Mausers. Rigby .416's; known for their silky-smooth feed, can give a lot of problems with anything but 410-gr Round nose pills. Currently, I'm having problems with a .275 Rigby, but that's using 100-gr Hornady HP's. And HP's can be a bitch in a lot of magazine rifles. So, to answer this qustion, it needs to be qualified by whether the bullet's weight, style etc, is what could be reasonably expected to feed properly. |
