Good evening Stephen, Thanks for the picture. I vaguely remember the rifle either having a scope or maybe just scope mounts. I surely remember the forestock, the engraving and for sure the bolt handle. I don't have a "image" in my mind of a scope. Belonged to a man named Kurt Vogel (I was told) who was in Alfred Gallifent's shop while I stopped by. I was not of there caste, so there was not much conversation, but I surely remember the rifle. After reading (and re-reading) this thread I went creeping thru this forum and found this, as well as others http://forums.nitroexpress.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=128084&an=0&page=5#Post128084 These fraser's are just plain wonderful. One of these little beauties in 7.65 would see me thru the rest of my hunting in fine stead. Again thank you. |
