Re: Which is the best big game bullet?

BIg FIve,

I've used PMP, hornady, speer, sierra and barnesX bullets so far. I don't like PMP weigh each bullet seperately and you will see how much they vary in weight. This excludes the pro amm range. The pro amm range I would put on par or maybe a bit lower quality than hornady bullets.

Normal speer and sierra bullets are too soft same as normal pmp and I have had a couple of wounded warthogs because of that. That is when I moved over to Hornady bullets but more expensive than pmp but works great. BarnesX is also very great but lot of people struggle with accuracy in their rifles.

I love hornady bullets very accurate and as long as you don't push them past 2600 fps you get great results. I will however only use hornady for plainsgame and something else like solids or barnesX for big game. The only product I use from PMP is their monolithic solid in 375 at a weight of 286 grains. They work great for penetration and they are indestructible !
