I applaud the choice of going with iron sights. The peep sight seems as quick as an express, but also opens things up even more with more light available and limited coverage of what's in front of you. It is a good choice in my opinion.

Too many people today shy away from irons and have the idea good shooting cannot be achieved without a scope. They merely need to practise to become proficient with their use. Irons are not the hindrance that a scope can be in close quarters, and they are surprisingly good at longer ranges too, even on the smaller species of game.
