I wear a standard Magnum PAST Pad under my shirt or jacket. Makes shooting much more enjoyable.

You don't want torn cartilage in your shoulder - the .458's and LOTS of rounds did it for me, finally beating it to shreds.

Now I have to wear a pad for most heavier recoiling intermediate guns and can't shoot the 'little' .458's any more, let alone anything heavier.

The pad is a good heath investment.
