I used Elmer Keith's load - 7- something grains IMR4350 (74.0gr. IIRC ONLY - DO NOT USE WITHOUT RESEARCHING AND WORKING UP TO IT) along with Fred Barnes 350gr. copper tubed and my own 350gr. bullets made from .223 brass. Trouble is, I don't remember and gave the load data with the rifle when I sold it.

They both shot fine - lots of recoil and about max I thought. Supposed to be 2400fps - again IIRC from 35 years ago.
