Crimped in the foreward crimp groove, they should fit any .458 cal. gun, Mike as they were designed to fit in a Marlin which allows only around .44" out of the case. I've shot 550gr. in my .458 2" and the .458 Alaskan using an old Lyman mould, with a huge flat nose. Elmer K. once told me to use that one in my .458 2" for Cape Buffalo for a trip I was planning, back in the late 70's. He said that bullet, hardened and at the 1,950fps was all I'd need. |
