John the reason I bought the CZ 416 Rigby was the price. The RSM I handled felt better in the hand than the CZ and the RSM has the 3 position safety but when it is $700 to $800 dearer than the CZ it was no contest.

I had a few things done to my CZ .416 by American Hunting Rifles. Among them was the fitting of a Win M70-style 3 position wing safety.

It's still available. Here's a link:

Pricey at $225 US, but I like all my hunting rifles to have the same safety system. Even the Remington 721 I inherited from the man who taught me to hunt now wears a M70-style safety.

I believe there are other sources. You may find some bargains if you really desire a 3 position safety.

I have one Ruger bolt rifle, one of the early Mark II's with CRF and the 3 position safety. I like the rifle a lot. It's hard to believe, but next year will be the 20th year I've had it in my possession. But I prefer the M70 safety to the Ruger safety. The safety tab on the Ruger is smaller & tucks in close to the bolt when on full safe. I find it less ergonomic than Winchester's.
