In good humour I'll bite Reggie.

I shot a .416 Taylor once. It was in a Boyds laminated stock (half the problem me thinks) and with a 20" barrel. It was a vile, poisonous and horrendous creature. Like a grown up .243. All muzzle blast, noise and drama.

Then I fired my CZ .416 Rigby. The recoil was stout but sweet, like the embrace of a Beer Maiden during Oktoberfest. (I'd better stop now).
